Fiber and polymer clay art dolls by Donna Snow

Konoko: Approx. 22 inches tall, Konoko is a seller of exotic fabrics. She is carrying rolled, dyed silk in a head basket and wears a costume of dyed silks and beads with a stunning and rare Japanese shibori poncho Kikuta is  22 inches tall, made from polymer clay and dressed in antique kimono silk, other silks and holds a polymer fan. Kikuta is a young Kabuki apprentice costumer wearing white face and wig in order to test out appropriate costume colors. Fat Foxy is 10" tall and made from polymer clay and fine fabrics. He sits in a picnic basket holding chicken bones and a fork. Picnic mini quilt is hand made.
The Sailor is 14" tall and made from polymer clay and cotton fiber. He sits on a wood stand with sail. Quilt Cat is made from polymer clay and is 12 inches tall. Quilt Cat has created a fine quilt cloak with leather drawstring to stay warm on cool evening. He also wears a lovely silk tie. The Lavender Sachet Dolls are each 4" tall, made from various silks and miscellaneous fabrics and stuffed with lavender buds. Many can be re-opened for refilling.
